To laminate mica paper with glass fabric, film, and/or other flexible material, then we get mica tapes. Usually 2 types of mica tape are available:
VPI type: VPI (Vacuum Pressure Impregnation) with a low binder content for coils and bars insulation of HV rotating Machines
Resin rich type: Suitable for hot-pressing method.
